The Ron Przybylinski Memorial Undergraduate Scholarship is a $250 award offered by the Greater St. Louis American Meteorological Society (AMS) to promote the study of meteorology at the undergraduate level to students from or studying in St. Louis, Missouri. This scholarship is given in honor of Ron Przybylinski, beloved meteorologist and former Science and Operations Officer at the National Weather Service in St. Louis. His research into quasi-linear convection systems revolutionized forecasts and warnings for linear convective systems, furthering the protection of life and property across the country. We hope to continue Ron's love of science and teaching by helping the next generation of meteorologists and other members of the weather enterprise succeed in school and feel connected to the wider meteorological community. Previous recipients of this scholarship are not eligible to receive this scholarship again.
